Planning and coordinating the circus that is the Children’s Charity Golf Classic is a group effort. The golf committee spends countless hours prepping and tweaking the million details that combine to offer our guests a unique day of entertainment and fundraising. Never satisfied with what we have done in the past this group accepts the annual challenge of making the next even better.

Kelly R. Nelson, M.D.

Out of the gate Kelly realized how competitive charity dollars are and how critical it was to host an event that was unique and that people actually wanted to attend.  With that mantra The Party With a Purpose has morphed into a one day festival that happens to be held at a golf course.

In order to keep the event fresh Kelly and his golf committee spend countless hours retooling the event every year – focusing on fun and uniqueness.  These differentiators continue to set this event apart from other golf outings and allows the party to sell out year after year.

Josh Zontek

Josh is the former Chief Strategy Officer of Blue Ridge Risk Partners and the former Chief Operating Officer of the Dyer Group. He is currently the owner of Mike’s Kitchen & Bath, where he leads the company’s strategic growth and commitment to high-quality residential remodeling.

In 2020, Josh was named to The State Journal’s 40 Under 40 list in recognition of his leadership and impact. He currently serves on the United Hospital Center’s Health Foundation Board. He also serves on the Medbrook Children’s Charity Golf Committee, supporting initiatives that benefit underprivileged youth in Harrison County.

Adam Dyer

Adam Dyer is the WV President and Chief Insurance & Acquisition Officer at Blue Ridge Risk Partners, a top 75 independent insurance agency operation in the U.S.  He resides in Bridgeport, WV with his wife Rhea and children Iley, Lorenn, and Witt. 

Eric Moccia

Hi, my name is Eric Moccia, my wife's name is Kelly, and we are blessed with two energetic, funny kids, Miller and Brooklynn. I am in sales at B Squared. We help companies  Elevate their brand with promotional products, print materials, and branded apparel. I love playing golf, skiing, and watching my kids grow. I love that I have the opportunity to help local kids in need. The children are our future.
