The Party with a Purpose 2024

Each summer, Medbrook Children's Charity hosts our “Party with a Purpose,” the Children's Charity Golf Classic at The Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This event is our single largest annual fundraiser.

Cleverly dubbed as “not a golf outing but a one-day festival” by staff at The Pete Dye Golf Club, the Children’s Charity Golf Classic is so much more than just a golf tournament! Featuring lunch and a round of golf in our signature “Shamble” format, our participants enjoy unique entertainment, food and beverages on the course including the infamous Tiki Bar on Hole 7, music and a variety of games spread over the course. 

For those who thrive on competition, each par five hole features a longest drive competition. Additionally, each par three features both a closest-to-the-pin contest and a new car prize for a hole-in-one. There is also a longest putt contest on the 18th green. Team prizes are awarded for those bold enough to keep score. 

The evening celebration features an awards ceremony/cocktail party for all participants and their guests, culminating with an auction of a select number of art collectibles, recreational trips, and one-of-a-kind items. 

Join us for this fun-filled day of golf and camaraderie as we raise money for local underprivileged children.
